Jade Morris has been working in the field of athletics administration for the past 10 years. She joined Accelerate Sports Ventures in September of 2022 as a consultant.
Morris is currently an Associate Director of Athletics at Belmont Day School. Prior to Belmont Day, she spent nine years at Boston College. Morris spent three years in Athletic Development overseeing stewardship, alumni engagement, and event planning. She then transitioned to the Office of Student-Athlete Development, which she directed for three years, working with student-athletes on personal development, career readiness, and community service. With the passage of Name, Image, and Likeness legislation in 2021, Morris began working with Accelerate’s founder Doug Fillis to support student-athletes in this new space. She also worked as a sport administrator with the softball and women’s hockey programs to ensure their needs were met.
In addition to working in the Athletics Department at Boston College, she has taught in the BC Woods College, Master’s of Sport Administration program since 2017. Morris is an adjunct professor, and teaches a variety of courses such as Intro to Sports Administration, Sports Media, and Sports Administration Internship.
Prior to Boston College, Morris spent time at Wellesley College, and then Springfield College, where she earned her Master’s of Education in Athletic Administration. She completed her undergraduate degree at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where she played varsity soccer and basketball.
